Maider López
Born 1975 in San Sebastian, Spain, where she also lives and works. She studied at the University of Art in Bilbao and the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale (2005), the Guggenheim Bilbao (2007), the OK in Linz (2009), and the Centre Pompidou in Metz (2012). She has realized many public art projects, including for the Christchurch Biennale in New Zealand (2008), the Sharjah Biennale in the United Arab Emirates (2009), and by invitation from SKOR and Witte de With in the Netherlands (2009).
