Martin Krenn
Martin Krenn is an Austrian artist and curator born in 1970. He has been teaching at the Universität für angewandte Kunst (University of Applied Arts) in Vienna since 2006. He studied painting at the University of Applied Arts and music at the Universität für darstellende Kunst (University of Music and Performing Arts), both in Vienna. Martin Krenn’s artistic practice connects art, social engagement, and political activism. His projects focus on the criticism of racism, the culture of remembrance, and various campaigns concerning the right to reside as well as issues of asylum and (im)migration.
