Johanna Kandl
Born 1954 in Vienna. She lives and works in Vienna and Berlin. She studied at the Akademie der bildenden Künste (Academy of Fine Arts) in Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. From 2005 to 2013, she was a professor of painting at the Universität für angewandte Kunst (University of Applied Arts) in Vienna. In 2002, she received the Recognition Award for Visual Art from the State of Lower Austria. She has had many exhibitions in Austria and abroad.
