As there was no winner of the first invited entry competition for the design of a schoolyard, three more artists were invited to submit entries to a second competition.
Despite a recommendation by the jury in Michael Kienzer's favour, the school board rejected it.
When the jury found itself unable to decide upon a winner in the first competition, three further artists were invited to compete. Despite a recommendation by the specialist committee that the design entered by Michael Kienzer should be implemented, the committee of the secondary school rejected the proposal.
